(More customer reviews)I drank Nutrament as a teenager back in the 80's while involved with sports. It was the best and to find that it is still being made after all of these years was a great surprise. I watched Vision Quest recently, which originally came out in 1985, and the main character was always drinking Nutrament. So I did a search and to my amazement found it here on Amazon. Today I drank an ice cold Chocolate drink and it was even better than I remember it! Ok, so it has nearly 50 grams of sugar (more than a pop), and it has a fair amount of fat, but it tastes incredible. It serves the best purpose as a post-workout drink, but can also be consumed as a snack or meal replacement. I am hooked again and will stock up, just in case it meets an untimely exit -- I sure hope not!

(More customer reviews)We discovered Luna Bars at a grocery store recently when they were on sale for a dollar apiece. We bought one of each kind to see which ones we like best. We figured for that price how could we go wrong. Well after trying all of them, my wife has weighed in...
HER FAVORITE: Chocolate Pecan Pie.
She loves Chocolate. She lives on Chocolate. And since we're on a diet similar to Body for Life and has a hard time stomaching the whey-filled protein bars, these are a welcome treat. They aren't overloaded with protein, but for the calories are extremely comparable to the leading protein bars (in a calorie-protein ratio comparison). Our only complain with the bars is that they're a little high in fat, especially saturated. Nevertheless, they are much, much better than most other treats out there.
Now, where to buy? Well Amazon of course. It is great. Amazon is the same price as local stores when they are on sale except Amazon provides free shipping and no tax (not to mention no driving to the grocery store or healthfood store) so they actually end up being cheaper on here everyday than elsewhere on sale. We always buy all of our drinks and bars on Amazon. A word of caution though, be careful which Amazon vender you buy from. Vitamin Shoppe is usually the cheapest but sometimes direct from Amazon is comparable. The other venders tend to be more expensive. Hope this helps.

(More customer reviews)I really like the taste of the Pria 110 Plus Bar Chocolate Peanut Crunch 15 bars, and they provide many nutrients for only 110 calories.
My only complaint is that the chocolate coating flakes off in many little pieces. I've gotten it all over my desk and my pants (until I learned to eat a bar over a paper towel or plate). Since the advantage of these bars is that they can be eaten on the go, the flaking is a major inconvenience. I have tried refrigerating the bars, but that makes them too hard to eat without raising concerns about chipping a tooth.
Here is the nutrition info (from the label of an individual 28g bar which is one serving) in case it is of interest:

UPDATE: The coating of the Mint Chocolate Cookie Pria bars does not flake so I find them much less messy to eat at my desk and on the go. And they taste great,too.

I love this Guided Imagery CD and listen to it every night at bedtime.
The background music, composed and performed by Robert McClung, is positively dreamy and perfect for facilitating relaxation and peace, as is the voice of Sharon M. O'Connor, RN, who reads from a very loving script with a soft, respectful, and dreamy voice that is at once, warm, interesting and beautiful.
The Script itself is almost perfect with the exception of two things: In the first track, entitled Peace, I find it offers too many options during the Mental Vacation portion, while not allowing quite enough time to bring the scenarios' into focus, but thankfully, it doesn't ruin the overall experience once you learn to work with it.
The third track could have been the first track because of the more
left-brain content and would've made a nice introduction, but at the same time I'm glad it wasn't since I love the first track so much!
Out of many hypnosis and guided Imagery CD's that I own - this is my favorite and I highly recommend it!
