(More customer reviews)Alright, so I've been in a search for the ultimate good-tasting protein bar that's also full of protein but low on carbs and sugar. Let me tell you, this bar is by far the best tasting thing I've tasted and it tastes more like a cross between Crunch candy bar and Twix.
It has 30 g of protein and only 6 g of net carn and 4 g of sugar. It is a little bit more expensive than majority of main stream bars out there, but you would definetely not regret it.

(More customer reviews)I don't think I could have stuck to my diet without these bars. 30 lbs so far and still counting. The soy in it just makes me feel good. The fiber is awesome. No need to take fiber pills anymore. They do fill me up. Sometimes I only eat half of the bar and save the rest for later. To me it's the perfect Fast Food. I would have giving them 100 stars. I have been telling all my diet buddies.

Optimum Nutrition 100% Egg Protein Review

(More customer reviews)I've been a big user of Whey protein shakes, mainly Nature's Best Isopure brand (because it's lactose-free). Unfortunately, it got to the point that I just couldn't take the horrible taste anymore. I decided to try Optimum Nutrition's egg white protein because I had read great reviews for Optimum Nutrition's protein shakes online. I've got to say that they are correct--this shake tastes just like chocolate milk!
PROS
-The shake really does taste great. I used to choke down protein shakes--no more :)
-Excellent price. You get a good serving of protein (23 or 27 g per scoop) and there's something like 40 scoops in the container.
-Again the taste--just great.
CONS
-The ad claims that it is instantized (you can mix it with a spoon). Unfortunately, it takes a good minute or two of heavy duty mixing to get that effect. At first it clumps up, and you have to go at it to unclump it. Even then, there are often little pieces left. The good thing is the taste makes up for it so I've never minded that.One last observation: whey protein seems to be "lighter" than this. I'm not sure if it's this particular brand or all egg protein shakes in general, but drinking my standard 1.5 scoops in the morning really fills me up! I feel a little heavy or full, almost like I've eaten a really big meal as I'm heading out the door. Just something to be prepared for!

(More customer reviews)This was recommended to me by my personal trainer and nutritionist. It was meant to aid me in my quest for weight loss through exercise. I have NEVER done a cleanse before, so this was a first for me. Originally, i was scheduled to do the detox for 2 weeks along with the Paleo Meal (Protein shake). The first few days were a hard transition, because of the VERY strict food limitations recommended by this brand (no gluten products, starches, red meats, cheeses, juices, decaf or reg. coffee, etc) but i got the hang of it. I stayed on the cleanse for 3 whole weeks instead of my planned 2 because of the amazing results. My body felt unbelievable! I lost a few pounds with this product but the feeling was priceless. I would highly recommend this if you will be committed to a very strict food program and can afford this.

(More customer reviews)As evidenced by other reviewers' comments across the entire Balance Bar product range, Amazon sometimes ships out expired boxes of these otherwise tasty energy bars. The price was right though, so I took a gamble in March 2006 and received a box that had expired in December 2005. Amazon gladly processed my return and replaced them with another box...from December 2005. Your best bet, unless you relish gnawing through stale, rock-hard nougat, is to procure them elsewhere.

(More customer reviews)This product is, quite literally, a Godsend. Radiation treatments have made it difficult for my father to swallow. This product is very low volume (only 1.5 oz), but is high in calories and protein. He can mix it in with a liquid drink like Ensure or stir it into oatmeal, etc. It allows him to meet his daily calorie intake without much fuss.
I don't know what we'd do without it!
If you need a product like this - it's just what you're looking for!

(More customer reviews)Of all of the protein bars I've ever had--and I've tried many--the protein bars by Designer Whey (Detour Caramel Peanut & Joyride Coconut Almond) are the best. By providing plenty of texture with either the coconut bits or the peanuts and putting plenty of flavor around their whey base it honestly tastes like you're eating a candy bar. I know that I'm sounding like I'm working for the company, but I'm just wanting to pass along the experience that I've had. I've wasted tons of money and time eating crummy protein bars. I'm really happy that my wife and I found these.
If these don't work for you as a second option I would recommend the bars by ProteinOne. Thirdly the bars by Myoplex.
