You must know that taking a scoop here and there every day(I use a 5 gram scoop that I saved from another supplement that I use but a teaspoon will do)will not cause you to loose control of your bowels. The best way to use this is to work yourself up from a teaspoon a day until you get to a comfortable dose. Some people will find 1 does a day will help them but others may require more.
People who do not eat much fiber can be "leaving waste behind" even though they may evacuate daily. OK, this is not the most pleasant subject to discuss out in the open, this "poopie talk", but everyone must learn that it is a very serious topic when it comes to over all health. If you do not "clean your pipes" daily, so to speak, waste material can sit and slowly build up in your system. This waste can cause many side effects as it slowly "rots" in the body. People who do not evacuate regularly or only partially, may be dealing with problems that would otherwise subside if they would only go to the bathroom daily. Waste left rotting in our bodies can make us feel lethargic, irritable, bloated/full, and some abdominal pain so sharp that you would never assume is was just a "stuck poop". It also can make you hold water or possibly make your skin tone change I have read.
I would suggest this product, to supplement, not replace, a diet of high fiber foods.
PS: I get my nickname from being a tan bald guy with muscles, but it is ironic that I use this product and that I do "go" regularly so the name has a dual meaning here!

The main thing is that if you've tried Biotin, you'll know if it works for you. My wife started using it and people were telling her that her hair looked thicker when they didn't know she was using it. Because her hair is thicker, it also appears to have more color and that is the thing I notice the most. I'm convinced.
As a sidebar, her nails are stronger. That's another signal that Biotin works. Considering the price and our experience with it, I'd be surprised if this product does not get extremely popular.

I can't make any claims to fat loss, though that wasn't my goal anyway. This product has a nice flavor, and interesting texture, so it mixes in with water and milk well. I usually just added to my protein powder. Apparently this contains a certain kind of fiber which is not conducive to nutrient uptake, so the label states not to take with your multivitamins or other drugs/supplements. Helps you poop.

I started taking it with my evening meal. This product has worked wonders for me! It took about 2-3 weeks before I noticed a difference, but I no longer feel bloated or gassy in the evenings, and have even been able to indulge in beans on occasion, without the awful side effects I once had. I should mention that I also take medication for an under active thyroid, am female, age 46. I noticed no side affects whatsoever. I have been taking it for about a month and a half now, am thrilled with the results, and will continue buying this product.
Also, I noticed on this site it says for adults to take two capsules twice a day with meals, but on the actual bottle it says take one capsule daily with a meal, which is what I do.

Originally my Mother actually purchased the chocolate flavor for me to try, and I was so impressed I decided to purchase the strawberry so I could have a variety in flavors. Keep in mind I have tried many low sugar / low carb meal replacement protein powders from all sorts of locations and brands. This one is by far my favorite! This is the first time I have actually decided to re purchase the same brand of protein powder after finishing the bottle. (More customer reviews)This and MetRX's protein powders are my favorites, though when Amazon has this brand in stock it's less expensive per serving than MetRX. The MetRX foams up a bit more and seems a little thicker (not negatives, in my opinion); the TwinLab comes out very smooth when made in a blender. Both brands taste very good, at least when made with fat free or 1% milk (or at the very least half milk and half water).
I won't detail the nutritional info because it's available in the product description here, but like MetRX I like that this protein powder gets almost all of its calories from protein. Some protein powders have a fair amount of fat and some have A LOT of carbohydrates. Those formulas may be good for competition level bodybuilders who need to have an extremely high caloric intake because they are working out so hard, but I don't really want a protein shake that gives me a meal's worth of carbs and fat in addition to the protein. I'd rather get my carbs and fat from real food.
