I wanted to trim a few pounds on a recent vacation to Hawaii so I tried the shake for the first time. This product worked great and I lost 5 pounds in 1 week. The shake itself is highly nutritious and I continue to have a shake for lunch everyday.

The Diabetes Portion Control Plate Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this portion plate for my husband as he is a diabetic. Nice glass plate but the black portion markings eventually washed off. You can make out where they were on the plate if you look at it real close. We now pretty much use it for just an extra plate. I also purchased the portion snack bowl which is very useful to him and myself when serving him.

I started taking this as a means to boost up my metabolism, because for some reason I eat very healthy and work out at least 5 days a week and wasn't seeing the results I expected. I also had a previous history of irregular menstrual cycles since I was 15. I am now 36yrs old. Doctors always told me it was due to inferterlity. But somehow I got pregnant 11yrs ago without the help of fertility drugs. Following the birth of my son who's 11yrs old now, I continue having irregular menstrual cycles, in fact I hadn't seen a period since March of 2008. After taking Thyrox T-3 it for about 2 weeks, it must've had a possitive effect on my thyroids because I recently got my period. So I have to say that not only do I feel my metabolism burning fat faster, but it has also had a possitive effect in other areas I never thought was going to be resolved.

I do watch my portions and I do exercise. To make matters worse, when I decided to return it, I realized I needed a return authorization number from them or they would not even accept the product. When I went to ask for the number, nobody would return my messages. Soon, after contacting Amazon for help (thanks AMAZON!), they sent an email with a number and instructions. I got them to help me quit smoking (oral fix.) I am finding out they are effective in losing weight as well. They defiantly curve my appetite. I rated this as 4 stars based on the fact that it definitely "cleanses". That said, this product really should come with a disclaimer like Alli does. I had no disillusions that use of the product would not make me go to the bathroom more, but I have experienced frequent, painful, loose bowel movements. I will not go into graphic details, but I will say that it definitely mimics the side effects associated with Alli (such as when you slip and eat fatty, greasy foods)and I have found myself darting to the bathroom. Knowing that this is supposed to "cleanse", I would definitely say it's doing so...but I would like to see the manufacturer indicate that you should expect this as an effect of use.

While this may be out of stock currently at WW, just be patient. Save half the cost by buying from the source or look for cheaper options on other sites or other vendors. This price is nuts. For this price, you could get the COMPLETE MEMBER KIT from WW (which has a PP Pedometer, measuring cups, and a darker blue jacket for your tracker in addition to the pretty blue case). Seriously, if you wanna spend 100 bucks, get the 90 buck complete kit direct from WW and get a lot more than this kit.
