(More customer reviews)These are just like a I remember from childhood. Adult multivitamins tase horrible and are huge and hard to swallow. These provide the same supplements, but in a more pleasurable way. I have to stop my boyfriend from eating multiple at a time. He thinks they're candy. Not sure why, but this particular bottle of vitamins seems to taste more gritty than normal. The two smaller bottles I bought at the pharmacy weren't like that. Not sure if it was the seller, this particular lot, or the fact that it was bulk (I run into similar problems when I buy huge boxes of cereal). I recommend these over "adult" vitamins though!

I work out a few times a week and jog for 5 miles 3 times a week...so I think my body can handle this, but I drink a lot of water! Trust me, you'll want to! I definitely recommend it but only if you're physically exerting yourself. On days that I know I'm not going to, I take regular or skip it.

(More customer reviews)In the past I've taken multi-vitamins and felt as if they just weren't really doing anything for me. As a result, I stop taking them and over time didn't really feel any different. (Either positive or negative.)
Recently my Dad and I began taking these and over the course of 3 weeks we both felt overall better. It increased both of our energy levels and even improved (not to get gross) our "bathroom habits."
We ran out of them and stopped taking them for about a week and 1/2 and did we notice a difference! Less energy and a slight change in "movements."
I picked up more vitamins for both of us and we noticed the change again rather quickly.
I have never really been the type of person who endorses or depends on vitamins, but I would definitely recommend these to others and have done so to my friends and family.

(More customer reviews)My review title is a joke between one of my sisters and I because I eat junk food a lot and am well-known for ordering chicken strips at *any* restaurant I go to. Fresh fruits and vegetables are not a part of my diet at all (on more than one occasion I've had Doritos for dinner). I didn't start taking the One-A-Day Women's multivitamin until about 18 months ago. One of my sisters and I were talking about how thin & brittle our nails were, and how thick our other sister's nails were, and we made the connection that our other sister took a multivitamin, while we did not. So I started taking One-A-Day, and within the month, I could see a thicker ridge of nail growing out. It was so weird, and yet so disconcerting to think my thin nails were caused by a vitamin deficiency. Even now, when I go for a bit without the vitamin, thinner nail will grow out until I remember to start taking the One-A-Day again. If my vitamin deficiency caused thin nails, what was it doing to the rest of my body?
One-A-Day Women's is a well-rounded vitamin. My only problem is that I have to take multivitamins on a full stomach otherwise they'll cause an upset stomach, so much that I will toss my cookies. I mean, I have to have a really full stomach... if I'm really hungry and just eat a bagel or a bowl of cereal, and then take this vitamin, I will get nauseous and have to rest my head on my desk and take deep breaths for 15 minutes until the feeling passes - so I try to take my vitamin after having a big plate of waffles or a bacon cheeseburger (see? I told you my eating habits weren't the best). This happens with any multivitamin for me, not just One-A-Day, but it's something to keep in mind when taking a multivitamin for the first time, you probably don't want to take it with an empty stomach.
*Update* I'm still taking the Women's One-A-Day, and a few months ago I suggested to my husband that he should start taking the Men's One-A-Day. He too has the same "thicker nail growing out" bonus from taking the Men's One-A-Day.

I use the weight smart advanced and I love it because it gives me the boost of energy I need to get through the day. It's like drinking a medium sized coffee, but without the mid-afternoon crash. This vitamin keeps me going all day long. I don't even need to nap when I get home from work anymore. Granted yes, this pill will make you vomit if you take it without food, or even before you eat. The key is to take this AFTER you eat a meal. Taking the pill on a full stomach prevents the nausea so many have been complaining about (at least it does for me). I haven't really seen the weight loss benefits from this, but I can say my energy level is much higher and I stay more alert as a result. This is not like the metabo**** pills with ephedra. It doesn't make me jittery or make mw feel like my heart is about to jump out of my chest like those ephedra pills do. overall this is a great vitamin and I am on my 3rd bottle already. I don't even drink coffee anymore since I've started taking these pills and I used to be a dunkin-aholic.

(More customer reviews)My hair stylist suggested this product to me when I mentioned that I would like to grow my hair longer. She said another client had been using it for her nails and had to come in more frequently for hair cuts because it worked so well. I am almost through one bottle and will definitely be purchasing another.
What I like about this product: It is a multi-vitamin, so I can just replace my usual vitamin with these. I found it comparable with the ingredients in a regular daily multi-vitamin, and even higher in calcium than my brand. There are quite a few vitamins in the Hair, Skin, & Nails that are in much higher doses than needed, but these are ones that excesses of are easily secreted from the body (no overdose risks). As for its performance, I am very satisfied with the results so far. I have seen a noticeable increase in the growth rate of my hair and nails, and someone even commented a few days ago that I had beautiful skin, a complement I have never heard before! My hair also does not seem as brittle as it used to, and is definately shinier.
What I don't like: Actually, that my hair is growing much faster- not just the hair on my scalp, but I now have to shave more frequently. Of course, this is actually a testament that the product does what it says it will, I guess just be careful what you wish for! I also do not feel that my nails are any stronger, just growing faster. I am hopeful this will just take more time; I have used this for only about 4 weeks. I would like to warn potential users, however, that after using for one week my face broke out in blemishes, which was not only shocking but horrifying. These cleared up by the second week, but I would definitely not recommend starting these a week or so before an important event where you want to look your best! And again, my skin has never looked better since. One last note- one of the ingredients is betaine hydrochloride. This is an acidic form of betaine that is also used to treat patients with low stomach acid. I, however, am a longtime sufferer of gastrointestinal inflammations and have occasionally felt some discomfort after using this product. As with anything, even a dietary supplement as this, check with your doctor before using.

(More customer reviews)I've been into nutrition supplements since I met Emergen-C and FizzIt/Zip Fizz, and various multi-vitamins. Several members of my family are body builders and health nuts. My sister recommended this product to me.
First off, I got this for $45 at a local GNC store (with membership). I was surprised I could get the same stuff at Amazon, with subscription for $25...
I usually take just one pack a day with a very tall glass of water after breakfast. You definitely will want to take this with food and PLENTY of water. One thing you will notice after taking this, your body will want water and lots of it. Throughout the entire day I feel a noticeable rise in energy as if I had a really dark cup of coffee.
I recommend just one pack per day due to the insane percentage of vitamins and nutrients. One of the responses I get taking this stuff is that your body will pass most of this stuff through your system without absorbing it. This opinion is debatable from my research online. Through my own testing with an increase in Vitamin C intake: I haven't been sick for 6+ months. I used to take sick leave on a monthly basis...
After a week of taking this supplement I noticed my energy levels were much higher and my workout results increased. Running several miles for a quick exercise is now easier than ever. I'm guessing each user's results will differ.
4 stars because of the expense (you do get what you pay for!) and the insane number of big pills you have to swallow. If one has problems with swallowing big pills, get a pill crusher to mix in with a drink. Some of these pills are pretty big. I've never had a problem with swallowing pills so this is not an issue for me.
I recommend taking this early in the day after a big breakfast. Drink plenty of fluids! Also, unless you are working out for hours and hours, fitness trainers I know recommend just 1 pack per day.

After taking this tablet once a day for 2 months, my hot flashes and night sweats have greatly reduced to almost nothing (I used to suffer terrible heat waves followed by sweat all over my face and legs!!! During the night it was a constant battle of "covers off/covers on" as I would get very hot and sweaty, only to suddenly get cold and shivery -- hard to get any sleep because of these menopause symptoms)
The feeling of calmness has increased, so that means better sleep and feeling less anxious/stressed out, making my husband happier instead of fearing the "Mad Woman of Redwood City".
To be fair, I was on hormone therapy - PrepmPro - for one year (April 2009 - April 2010) because my hot flashes and emotional rollercoaster were out of control and literally making me crazy. Yes, the menopause symptoms stopped; Unfortunately, the side affects that hit me were the monthly migraine headaches, which had gotten so bad that I ended up in ER because the pain would not go away and I thought I was having a stroke. I had suffered migraines before when I was on birth-control back in my 20's - i had stopped those immediately after a 2-week bout of migraines. I did the same with the Prempro -I stopped taking them exactly 1 year after starting those pills, and after I ended up at the hospital. I've been off Prempro for 3.5 months, and during that time I have not had any kind of headache since - so the hormones in the Prempro were the true culprit.
Yes, there are many "natural remedies" out there for women going through the change of life; but what can work for one person, may not work for another. Same thing with prescription drugs.
My experience in taking One-A-Day-Menopause Forumula is that it works for me, and I am happy with the current results.
All I need to find now is the cure for the Menopause "weight gain"!!!
