From taking this product, I have felt waaaaay more energized, and in NO WAY bloated. It has been very effective in regulating my digestive system.
I never feel as if I'm blocked.
I thought the product did exactly what it told me it would do. I really enjoyed it, and plan on using it again! People need to stop thinking there's a magical cure for weight loss. This merely helps your body jump start that, and get it ready to lose weight.

Universal Animal Pak Sports Nutrition Supplement, 44-Count Review

(More customer reviews)I've been into nutrition supplements since I met Emergen-C and FizzIt/Zip Fizz, and various multi-vitamins. Several members of my family are body builders and health nuts. My sister recommended this product to me.
First off, I got this for $45 at a local GNC store (with membership). I was surprised I could get the same stuff at Amazon, with subscription for $25...
I usually take just one pack a day with a very tall glass of water after breakfast. You definitely will want to take this with food and PLENTY of water. One thing you will notice after taking this, your body will want water and lots of it. Throughout the entire day I feel a noticeable rise in energy as if I had a really dark cup of coffee.
I recommend just one pack per day due to the insane percentage of vitamins and nutrients. One of the responses I get taking this stuff is that your body will pass most of this stuff through your system without absorbing it. This opinion is debatable from my research online. Through my own testing with an increase in Vitamin C intake: I haven't been sick for 6+ months. I used to take sick leave on a monthly basis...
After a week of taking this supplement I noticed my energy levels were much higher and my workout results increased. Running several miles for a quick exercise is now easier than ever. I'm guessing each user's results will differ.
4 stars because of the expense (you do get what you pay for!) and the insane number of big pills you have to swallow. If one has problems with swallowing big pills, get a pill crusher to mix in with a drink. Some of these pills are pretty big. I've never had a problem with swallowing pills so this is not an issue for me.
I recommend taking this early in the day after a big breakfast. Drink plenty of fluids! Also, unless you are working out for hours and hours, fitness trainers I know recommend just 1 pack per day.

It is very small and light weight. It gives very consistent measurements. I was initially concerned about the size and consistency since your feet hang over both ends of the scale when you stand on it. But it works very well.

(More customer reviews)I decided that since no one had reviewed this item yet I'd share my experience with the product even though I've only been taking it for two days. I rated this as 4 stars based on the fact that it definitely "cleanses". That said, this product really should come with a disclaimer like Alli does. I had no disillusions that use of the product would not make me go to the bathroom more, but I have experienced frequent, painful, loose bowel movements. I will not go into graphic details, but I will say that it definitely mimics the side effects associated with Alli (such as when you slip and eat fatty, greasy foods)and I have found myself darting to the bathroom. Knowing that this is supposed to "cleanse", I would definitely say it's doing so...but I would like to see the manufacturer indicate that you should expect this as an effect of use.

I also have it for dinner sometimes. DO NOT order this product from the Nutrition 53 website. They are more expensive, they charge outrageous shipping, and the fine print tricks you into enrolling in their automatic shipment program. Their customer service also stinks. Stick with amazon.com and try this amazing product. You will love it!

(More customer reviews)This product is the best meal replacement drink I have seen to date. I keep waiting for other products to catch up to them, but so far they haven't.
The main difference between this meal replacement and other meal replacement products I've seen is in the carbohydrates they provide. Most other meal replacements I've seen either use sugars or maltodextrin as their main carbohydrate. The problem with this is that they have a high glycemic index. This means that when you eat them, your blood sugar rapidly rises and your body responds by making a lot of insulin. Then in a very short time, your blood sugar is low and you have no energy and are hungry again. This product is low sugar and no maltodextrin which is great. Hopefully it has a low glycemic index.
The oil blend is this product looks to be good. They don't report the exact percentages of omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids but they do contain omega fatty acids.
As for the protein, it's a blended protein that's 40 grams per serving.
In my opinion, the taste of these products is great, but that's only an opinion. Concerning the nutritional value of this product, everything I've said here is easy to validate with a little research.
The only downfall of this product is the cost. It's a lot cheaper to just blend protein powder, oatmeal and Udo's oil in a blender, but that obviously isn't nearly as convienent. All in all, this is a great product, but be sure to shop around because the price can vary greatly.

Nature's Secret 5-Day Fast and Cleanse Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I tried this fast as a way to investigate a suspected food allergy and to just reset my body.
During the fast:
I had caffeine headaches for the first 2 days but these went away. Day 2 was the hardest by far - got a little easier after that. My sense of smell increased so that I could smell a neighbor's grill 2 blocks away. Unlike some reviewers, I had a drop in energy. Some tasks took me longer to complete due to lack of focus. I realized how much of eating is either social or due to boredom. While I definitely went through periods of hunger, some of it was due to routine. Didn't experience too many side effects: face broke out just a little, bathroom visits were few (but substantial), dry skin and hair.
After the fast:
Did feel more focused and energetic, although true energy levels took a couple days to reset 100%. Took a few more days off from jogging.
Lost weight in face and stomach. I'm guessing the lack of salt helped decrease face puffiness. Stomach must have shrunk, since I fill up with smaller meals not. Will slowly work coffee, wine, etc back into diet, but will be more deliberate about it.
Overall:
An effective product that taught me alot about how I treat food. I found that a strict routine helped me get through the week. I made a grid listing out every fasting "meal" and what to take. Made a dedicated area on the table for this so I didn't have to think too much when my focus was low.
