(More customer reviews)I don't know why there are so many negatives about this vitamin. I use the weight smart advanced and I love it because it gives me the boost of energy I need to get through the day. It's like drinking a medium sized coffee, but without the mid-afternoon crash. This vitamin keeps me going all day long. I don't even need to nap when I get home from work anymore. Granted yes, this pill will make you vomit if you take it without food, or even before you eat. The key is to take this AFTER you eat a meal. Taking the pill on a full stomach prevents the nausea so many have been complaining about (at least it does for me). I haven't really seen the weight loss benefits from this, but I can say my energy level is much higher and I stay more alert as a result. This is not like the metabo**** pills with ephedra. It doesn't make me jittery or make mw feel like my heart is about to jump out of my chest like those ephedra pills do. overall this is a great vitamin and I am on my 3rd bottle already. I don't even drink coffee anymore since I've started taking these pills and I used to be a dunkin-aholic.

(More customer reviews)I think it tastes pretty good, actually, but the important thing is that IT DID THE JOB!!! I was low on B12 because I rarely eat red meat and doctor was ready to put me on B12 shots every so often. I took this for a month and my B12 levels went right on up to where they should be. There is a convenient dropper top on the bottle. Every day, I squirt a dropper full under my tongue and go on about my business. (In case you don't know, I was told that a B12 shortage can cause permanent nerve damage. That's why the doc was so concerned.--FYI, my Uncle says B12 helps regulate his blood sugar levels, too because he has diabetes.)
This package contains two 1-oz bottles and it is actually a B complex, containing B2, B3, B6, B12, B5. The recommended dosage is one dropper.
Update 1/6/09--I am beginning to suspect that this product may help to prevent gout in some people. See your doctor for sure. I also suspect that this liquid under the tongue may be more effective and/or work faster than pills. My doctor seemed surprised at how fast the B-12 liquid brought my B-12 levels up.
Update June 2010--Annual physical revealed B12 levels are better than optimal. Doctor actually said I could take less of this. So, I went from "needing a monthly B12 shot" to being fine. Go figure. I'd say it works. BTW, I do (now) eat red meat about once or twice a month.

(More customer reviews)First of all, since this is the review of the product, let me say that it is a really great tasting energy bar. It kinda tastes like Snickers, except not as sweet.
Now the reasons you may not want to order here: Earlier reviews that I cannot locate anymore mentioned getting bars that were past the expiration date. I've been ordering them from Amazon for a year now and never had this problem.
Another problem is that Amazon does not protect the shipments from the weather in any way. If you order your bars when it's hot outside they will melt on the way and arrive looking shapeless and unappetizing. So, do not order them from Amazon in the summer.

(More customer reviews)I ran across Bragg Liquid Aminos purely by accident. I happened to see it on the shelf at some store when I was shopping for groceries and decided to try it out. I am into healthy foods these days because I am in my 50s with a family history of high blood pressure, obesity, heart disease, and diabetes.
The Nutrition Facts numbers were good --- 0 mg total fat, o mg cholesterol, 100 mg carbs, 110 mg sodium, and 290 mg of protein. According to the manufacurer, the 100 mg sodium is not added, but is what naturally grows within the ingredients.
Wow. Good tasting stuff! Somehow, it tastes salty without being loaded with salt.
Having lived in Kentucky as a kid, I know and understand the appeal of the best tasting food in the world -- southern greens. But, as you know if you have ever had them, they are loaded with fat and salt.
What I found, as a good alternative, is to steam raw greens in a microwave steamer, using no salt and instead, sprinkling in Bragg Liquid Aminos, along with chopped onions, and your favorite non-salt spices.
Hhm, boy!

(More customer reviews)I thought it was nice that they included dieter's Tea for free but they want you to take 6 pills a day????? Really OMG. I am going to take 2 a day hopefully that works. I dont get why so many. couldnt they make the pills more concentrated?? so you take less. Well I will give it a shot.
update: after a few days of taking this I just wanted to say it does happen to curb your hunger
update: It has been a couple weeks and I must say it does help but i only take 2 a day not 6.
